Yes Drugs are substances that are originally used in medicine in order to cure illnesses and ease pain. As the years went by, people started abusing drugs for their powers and misusing them, resulting in dangerous situations and sometimes death. 10. Purple Drank


Purple drank is a drug that was popularized in the 90s hip hop culture. It’s a combination of a prescription cough syrup which contains codeine and promethazine, mixed with soft drinks such as Sprite or Mountain Dew. Sometimes a Jolly Rancher is thrown in for extra sweetness and color.
The effect of this combination is known as swooning euphoria, which is a sedative effect that makes the person sipping it woozy.
Purple Drank has caused many notable deaths of users. DJ Screw, who popularized the drink, died of a codeine-promethazine-alcohol overdose in 2000. At least other three hip hop rappers or producers have died because of this concoction.

9. Krokodil


Desomoprhine, also known as Krokodil, is a derivative of morphine. It’s a new drug that appeared in Russia since 2002. The drug is the combination of codeine, paint thinner, gasoline, iodine, hydrochloric acid, and the red phosphorous from matchbox strike pads.
It’s one of the deadliest street drugs to ever exist. Also, the people taking the drug have a life expectancy of a year or two years. It is much cheaper than heroine, and it nearly has replaced opiates as the drug of choice. The drug gets its name because it leaves body parts rotting and the skin scaly and green. If the drug is injected and missed a vein, the flesh will develop abscesses. Experts believe that it’s the strongest level of addiction and the hardest to cure.

8. Phencyclidine (PCP)


PCP, also known as angel dust, is a crystalline synthetic drug that was once used as anesthesia but its severity caused people to stop using it. Powdered PCP is snorted or mixed with marijuana and smoked. The side effects of high doses of PCP are paranoia, hallucinations, suicidal impulses, and depersonalization. 7. Bath Salts


Psychoactive bath salt (PABS), or bath salts, is a term used to describe a number of recreational designer drugs. Bath salts are marketed as a cheap substitute for more expensive stimulants such as methamphetamine or cocaine. They can be ingested, injected or snorted.
A person on bath salts can show aggressiveness or self destruction behavior, and stun guns or pepper sprays have absolutely no effect on them. There have been many cases that resulted in death because of bath salts.

6. Devil’s Breath


Hyoscine hydrobromide, also known as Devil’s breath, is one of the world’s most dangerous drugs. It leaves the person taking it in a zombie like state with no ability to control their actions. In large doses it can cause respiratory failure and death.
It’s mostly widespread in Colombia, and sometimes used as a rape drug to render a victim unconscious for 24 hours or more.

5. Whoonga


Whoonga, or nyaope, is a street drug and South Africa’s worst drug. It’s a cocktail of dagga, heroin, anti-retro-viral drugs, rat poison and acid. The antiretroviral is originally used to treat HIV, and due to the high rate of HIV sufferers in South Africa, it’s widely available there.
The users experience intense euphoria, deep contentment and relaxation. However, the euphoric state wears off after 6 to 24 hours, followed by painful withdrawals symptoms such as severe abdominal pain, nausea and many others that will ease up after they use again.

Methamphetamine, or crystal meth, is a powerful and highly addictive street drug that’s used by people of all ages. It’s a drug that acts as a stimulant, giving a false sense of well-being and energy, before leading to a physical or mental breakdown once the drug wears off.

Carfentanil is a deadly drug and is the most potent opioid in the world. It was first discovered in 1970 and was used to sedate large zoo animals. It’s 100 times stronger than fentanyl, which is 50 times stronger than heroin. It’s so strong that it was banned from the battlefield for being a chemical weapon. According to the US Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), it is the most potent commercial opioid in the world. In China, it not a controlled substance. In addition, it can be manufactured legally and sold openly online.
